Last but not least, the Knockout Festival in Karlsruhe.. and what a great way to say goodbye to the concert year 2018! A heavy X-mas metal party with many great bands like Helloween, Pretty Maids, Primal Fear, CoreLeoni, Freedom Call and Sons of Sounds! Please have a look at the galleries at www.dark-festivals.de! Another great (small) festival with around 2000-3000 guest, a Halloween/Mediaval Market and a very fine lineup. I took some pics of amazing bands, guest portraits and performers. You can find galleries of me at www.dewezet.de (local newspaper) as I worked for them and one of my Coppelius pics even made it to the frontpage (awesome!!!).

The first Black Castle Festival in Mannheim since... no, it was the first episode! Premier of a small two days event at the Maimarkt Gelände Mannheim with a great outdoor market and a cool line up this year. Smaller than Wacken for sure and in the middle of nowhere in the Black Forest... but a great little festival with about 3000 guest and a great lineup. Since I travelled as a band photographer with Nachtschatten, I took only pics from two bands - the headliner Sepultura and Nachtschatten! Great orga and an amazing bunch of helpers and friends made this festival really awesome. Have a look at the full galleries on Facebook from Sepultura and Nachtschatten!

The Wacken Open Air 2018 was incredible, I took pics from over 25 Bands and got sun burned. Best Buy: A hat! 

It was an amazing festival with so much fun, friends and freaking good music. Musicians shared some of my pics and one got over 800 likes... pretty crazy. The third and so far biggest Gothic Treffen at the Nachtwerk in Karlsruhe was an amazing experience with lots of bands: Solitary Experiment, FrozenPlasma, Intent:Outtake, Schneewittchen, Still Patient, Nachtschatten, Egomey, and Aurium Voluptas. In addition, readings (Antke Met, Ric Q Winther anjd Fabienne Säuberlich), artist vernissages and dancers of the dance school Omnia (Friday, Saturday) entertained the visitors (see impressions here). The fire artist Betty Black was again a highlight of the Saturday evening. Please follow the links to my Facebook galleries. 

My first Synthetic Orange and I can say, it was a blast. This small mainly electronic themed festival is a goodie one should not miss.
